Unexpected Trip to Scilly

Having had to cancel our first tour to Scilly this April I wasn’t expecting to end up here at all until our October visit. However, a last minute call from work saw me arrive via Merlin helicopter to assist for a couple of weeks. Even in mid-June, Scilly can turn up good birds. So far, Marsh Warbler (found by Kris ‘Spider’ Webb, image below courtesy of Scott Reid), Yellow-legged Gull (found by Kris ‘Spider’ Webb) and numerous Crossbills have been the highlights! 10 more days to go, fingers crossed for a few more goodies!
